Dr. Carlyle Rogers Psy.D. (Meliorem Health, Northcentral University) and Dr. Scott Moore D.O. (Weber State University, pathologist) are conducting an important research study examining the positive health impact of healthy eating (whole foods plant-based diet), stress management and physical activity, upon individuals in inner-city Ogden, Utah.
Specifically, addressing the health and well-being issues and disparities in the inner-city Ogden area related to reversing type-2 diabetes. This will be the first collaborative lifestyle medicine education and intervention for the economically and socially disparate inner-city Ogden population.
The study is 12 months and is anticipated to kick-off in the Fall 2021.
